NG Wan Sheng a repairer from Hong Kong of traditional antique furniture had a dream to reproduce antique style boxes and furniture.
So, despite this being a small company, the boxes are still designed and lacquered with the same attention to detail, as those boxes and furniture he had repaired in his younger days.

These antique style wooden boxes are exquisite with beautifully designed lacquered exteriors, brass fittings, unique shapes and designs, and cultural significance and attention to detail expressed through the interior Chinese calendar book extracts.
The lacquered artwork depicts symbolic images varying from tradional 'emperor' dragon and 'empress' phoenix designs to 'longevity' cranes, 'good fortune' bats 'wealth and rank' peonies, 'purity and perfection' lotus flowers and 'love and fidelity' mandarin ducks.
The Chinese calendar book is central to Chinese society and both the masses and the elite consult it to help them in their important life’s decisions such as starting a business or getting married.
